Hermitage School District in Mercer County welcomes 2012 kindergarten students

The Artman Elementary School in the Hermitage Area School District is holding its annual "GET TO KNOW ARTMAN DAY" on Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 3:45-5:30pm.

All pre-K students who are enrolled for Kindergarten, Fall 2012 and their parents are encouraged to attend this annual event. All area Pre-K providers are also invited to share this event with their children. This collaboration between the school district and the Pre-K providers help to make a smoother transition for the families while helping the children become comfortable.

The children will be able to visit a Kindergarten classroom and spend time in each of the "Special" area subjects classrooms as well.

Parents will also receive valuable information on school policies and procedures during their visit.
