Lawrence County teacher sees Jackson as a very bright Shining Star

Jackson L. is a very bright Shining Star. I couldn’t be more proud of him. Since Jackson had been enrolled in our early learning program here at STAR 3 The Learning Tree he has made great gains. He continues to show eagerness and curiosity as a learner. Jackson displays a positive sense of self and participates in the group life of the class. I feel that with his increased independence he is prepared and ready for challenges that await him in kindergarten. Jackson has an amazing personality and can light up a room with his smile. He loves to play with his friends, listen to stories, sing songs, and be creative. Jackson has a wonderful and supportive family and often shares stories about all the fun things they do together. Jackson’s parents play an active role in his learning. They attend parent/teacher conferences, set goals, and volunteer in the classroom whenever they can. I appreciate Jackson and will miss him dearly when he moves on to Kindergarten. He has taught me many things and for that I will always be grateful!
