Montgomery County Child Care program celebrates 10 year anniversary

Discover how a quality early learning program in Montgomery County celebrated it's 10th year anniversary

The Montgomery County Community College Children’s Center celebrated 10 years since opening as a college sponsored program in 2002.

Many former students, parents and staff returned to celebrate this anniversary.

In addition to being a Keystone STAR 4A center the center has participated in PA Pre-K Counts since the beginning.

This year three PA Pre-K Counts teachers completed all requirements for PA state certification.

In a unique school transition activity, children going on to kindergarten participated in a video conference visit with a kindergarten classroom in the Lancaster area. The children interviewed the kindergarten children with questions such as “Do you ride a school bus?” “How did you make friends?”
