You may have baked bread, or pizza, or cookies before, but have you ever done so inside of a cardboard box? You can- using the energy from the sun. League about this and try a sample of food you could make in your own solar oven. Meet at the Beach House steps.

Hide N Seekers

Calling all 4 and 5 year olds! Have fun at the Discover E Hide-N-Seekers program with activities, short hikes, crafts and stories. the topics will include chipmunks, beavers and more. After completing both days, each child will receive a badge and certificate for completing the Hide-N-Seekers program. Pre-registration is required. Register by calling park office at (814) 342-5960. Cost: $5/per child.

Join the park naturalist for a nature story, and then make a neat craft! This activity is open to anyone who would like to participate, but is designed for children ages 4-12. Meet at the small pavilion near the campground contact station. Children must be accompanies by an adult.
