Kindergarten teachers: How do you believe quality early learning prepares children for kindergarten?

Why do you feel quality early learning is important to preparing children for kindergarten? Do you consider early childhood education (birth –kindergarten) an important part of our education continuum? If so, why?

  • Please mention the name(s) of any programs that your child participates in, such as PA Pre-K Counts, Keystone STARS, Head Start, Nurse-Family Partnership, Early Intervention, Child Care Works (CCIS) or Parent-Child Home Program.
